I don’t know how many times I’ve started a weight-loss plan, some with more success than others. However here I am, needing to lose weight again! Losing weight is hard. Losing weight when you have are chronically ill? Hmmm. I’ve gone round and round in circles and seem to fall off the bandwagon when I have a symptom flare. I need an approach for success, that will work for me all the time; symptom-free and flare ups.

So what’s my approach?

How I’ve planned my wellbeing to bring joy in June!

Today is my Wellbeing Wednesday! The first Wednesday of the month where I share how I’ve planned my wellbeing for the month ahead.  To read a previous post in this series, click here. and here. I am so excited for this month. I have friends visiting this weekend, then seeing other close friends the week after. Then later in the month, husband and I are going away to Cyprus for a week. I can’t tell you how much I am looking forward to this. We don’t go abroad very often-together. My husband travels a lot for business and it is thanks to that we get to go into the First Class Lounge at the airport and are travelling business class! A glass of Champagne? Ah if I must…

We also have a UK weekend break at the end of June with my husband’s kids. More travelling, exploring and time together. So as I’ll be away from home for nearly two weeks, it is important that the goals;

  • are manageable (realistic in the time-frame) and I am not trying to take on too much. It is important to enjoy my time away too!
  • are goals that I can work on from anywhere

Tips for Travelling with a Chronic Illness

We’re at that time of year when you are likely to be thinking about your summer holiday. I am lucky enough that I have three trips that i am looking forward to in the next few months. So I am starting to think about what I can put in place to travel with a chronic illness: manage my symptoms and ensure I have a wonderfully relaxing time. I am sure many others would benefit from this too, so decided to blog about it. I wanted to keep this post quite general, so will apply to more people. So I’ve had a little help from others with a chronic illness. Where they are a fellow blogger, I have included a link to their blog or social media.
